A moving remembrance ceremony&tribute at Mount Mitchill Memorial in Atlantic Highlands as many gathered to honor all who lost their lives on 9/11, 147 of them were born, raised or lived in Mon Co.The #MCSONJ will never forget&always pay tribute to those we lost that fateful day.

Of the nearly 3000 lives that were lost on 9/11, 412 were first responders. As people were coming down the towers, they were going up to save as many lives possible. @SheriffGolden & the #MCSONJ will never forget. They will always be our heroes & we salute them all. #neverforget

Mon Co Police Acad recruits ran to remember in Belmar last night during the Jersey Shore 9/11 Memorial Run to pay tribute to those we lost. Every stride was a reminder of the strength&resilience during&after 9/11.The run,though somber, keeps the spirit of remembrance&honor alive.
