I never knew the old Vienna before the war with its Strauss music, its glamour and easy charm. Constantinople suited me better. I really got to know it in the classic period of the black market. We'd run anything if people wanted it enough and had the money to pay. Of course a

THE SHROUDS is a stirring, solemn examination of grief by way of not-so-fantastical technology, sex and body horror. You know, typical Cronenberg. Was a bit lengthy and gets a little too into the weeds in places, but interesting to see Cassel playing an avatar of DC. #TIFF24

A lot of “Tim Burton hasn’t made anything this good since…” posts that are going right over Frankenweenie, which is devastating because Frankenweenie is incredible.

The ghost with the most is back with the funniest movie of the year! Holy shit I had a huge grin the entire movie. So many great gags and so many puppets! This was just so fucking funny. Cast is stellar tbh, Keaton and Ryder still have it and O'Hara is PHENOMENAL. Loved it!
