Would TANGO1 inhibition be anti-fibrotic? We designed peptide competitive inhibitors of TANGO1 binding to paralogue cTAGE5. Neundorf Lab synthesised peptides with lysosomal escape motif – peptides enter cells and bonus (!) they lead to mild degradation of TANGO1 and cTAGE5 7/14
