In Year 2 today we are using our story plans to write a space themed story. We are enjoying being creative and being authors.

Year 5 have had a fabulous day at Yorkshire Sculpture Park, inspired by the works of Henry Moore and Barbara Hepworth to create their own sculptures ❤️

Nursery have been let loose with the drill today in their final woodwork lesson of the year! Brilliant work everyone! 🪚🛠️🪛

Our first challenge is a walking 🚶‍♀️one. In light of Mrs Fowler's amazing walk 👇🏼 of 100km (62 miles) in less than a day, can you match her efforts? If you walked 1 mile every day from now until 21 September you would complete the same distance 🤯 How many days will it take you..?

How are we doing on our walking 🚶 challenge? Anyone managed to achieve the distance that Mrs Fowler covered in 1 day, yet? 👇🏼 final result from this year's Y3-6 Sheriff's Challenge, includes walks to swimming & back, residentials, Monday mile etc. Well done 💪 New challenge 🔜

Nursery are continuing their learning of Jack and the Beanstalk and have been busy creating observational paintings of castles. They have talked about the shapes and structures that they could see and tried hard to include these features 🏰🫘🌱🌱
