Underrated factor in getting in great shape is how you manage outside stressors Are your vices in tact? (Booze, overeating, laziness, etc) Is your sleep compromised because you’re too stressed from work? Managing stress plays a huge role outside of diet and exercise

Went to a work event at a bar today for March madness and chose not to drink Was it uncomfortable? Hell yeah Was I proud that I stuck to my word? Absolutely Momentum is a powerful thing

You won’t get in great shape without some level of routine You have to habits you can default to every day even when variables get thrown your way Mine are starting the day with fasted cardio and a protein shake What’re yours?

Outside of walking, elliptical might be the highest ROI form of cardio Doesn’t require a ton of effort Can easily burn 300-400 calories in about 40 minutes Win win

Sometimes abstinence is better than moderation If a type of food or vice is kicking your ass, do away with it completely Better than continuing to tempt yourself

Sticking to your word and being disciplined regardless of how you feel results in confidence and pride Giving in to your emotions results in regret and low self esteem

Not gonna lie, I spent the last few weeks drinking more than I should, eating more than I should, and just overall feeling like a shell of myself after my cut I’m sure there’s other guys on here that have similar battles but just won’t admit it Important thing is how you bounce

Typical day of eating lately: 1. Two premier protein shakes to hack protein intake for the day (60g of protein) 2. 200g of jasmine rice and 7-8 oz of lean ground beef with veggies 3. Two chicken quesadillas on low carb tortillas Hard to not end up in a deficit this way
