#Kilauea erupted briefly last night in a remote area west of Nāpau Crater on the middle East Rift Zone in Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park. Lava eruption started between 9:00-10:00 pm HST (Sep 15, 2024) & has ended. Sulfur dioxide continues to de-gas from vents. Vegetation burned.

Eruption near Nāpau Crater in Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park diminished overnight & is now paused. This morning, crews reported small fountains & lava flows at one of the western fissures, but activity stopped by 10:00 AM. Alert Level/Aviation Color Code remain at WATCH/ORANGE.

Our little kittens went to the vet today and got fixed. Mr. Magoo is still Mr. Magoo, Lotus is now Bode. Turns out I mistakenly thought he was a female. He had such small balls compared to Magoo. 😂

Damn, today I just found out that my cousin has Parkinson’s. He needs to work 6 more years to get his full pension. I really hope that they find a cure for this.
