Thank you to our pupils, families and staff who joined us last night for our S1 Welcome Mass. In particular, thank you to Fr. Matthew who leaves us after 5 years as School Chaplain. We will miss you!

Today we say farewell & thank you to Fr Matthew after 5 and a half years as our Parish Priest. Today he moves on to become PP of St Aidan's, Johnstone. We welcome Fr Jonathan Whitworth as our new Parish Priest of St Francis'. Please pray for all priests moving, & for vocations.

Today we celebrate the birth of the Blessed Virgin Mary, nine months after the December 8 celebration of her Immaculate Conception, when she was conceived without original sin. For more about the Nativity of Mary - bit.ly/3Ofz3GK

VOCATIONS MASS Tomorrow, Thursday 12th September, we will celebrate the annual Diocesan Vocations Mass at St John’s in Port Glasgow, at 6.30pm. Bishop Keenan invites you to attend this Mass and to pray for an increase in vocations to the Priesthood, Diaconate & Consecrated Life.

NEW PARISH DEACON We welcome Deacon Don to both parishes of St Francis’ and Holy Family. He will assist Fr Jonathan with the administration of Sacraments and pastoral support of our communities.
