Skipper has a very important pupdate: He has a new toy and is most excited. We don't know how long we have with this sweet boy, but I'll be damned if he doesn't have the best quality of life possible while he's here with us.

Skipper would like to know why he's not allowed to chew on the dust pan and why you didn't argue in favor of his need to destroy said cleaning supplies.

We are homecoming dress shopping, and so are 98% of the other teenage girls in the state. There is so much giggling happening, and I am thrilled to be able to experience these moments with my girl and her bestie.

Okay. Shrimp is purchased. I got the jumbo, raw, deveined ones. I also bought some cod. This dinner is either going to be a thing of beauty or a disaster.

Here's a day in the midst of my chaos, y'all. 7 appointments in one day, one of which was 4hrs long. I've also spent more than half the day on the phone with insurance, nursing agencies, IEP coordinators, complex care coordinators, and doctors. Y'all. I am tired, so very tired.

Forced myself to cook dinner tonight over ordering takeout. All I wanted to do was sleep. Pls clap.

This girl is amazing. She lives with three diagnoses that make life a nightmare at times. They limit her ability to do so many things. Today, however, she gave the finger to all of them. She got first violin in the orchestra, earning every second of this honor. We're so proud!
