Not one of these teams play in a subdivision that's ever had a functional postseason tournament. Of course they have 5 teams with streaks of 5+ wins after week 2.

Question for fans of Montana, Montana State, and Idaho about a hypothetical: Let's assume for whatever reason that the MWC doesn't want to entertain NDSU and SDSU and they stay put. Do you think a move to the MWC would be the right long term decision for your program?

Weird that D1 isn't happening for NDSU. Because pretty sure they have 3x the D1 football titles as every team combined in the Mountain West (and heck, let's throw in everyone in the C-USA as well).

Not gonna lie, Nevada rejoining the Big Sky and starting back up the Aggie-Pack Battle is a pretty enticing proposition!

So far about 2/3's are leaning wanting MWC, 1/3 are leaning wanting to stay Big Sky. The real question now is does that split out to be more Montana and Montana State opinions vs Idaho opinions? Or is it a more even smattering distributed throughout all three fanbases?

Just in case you have any doubt where we stand overall. Totally get that individual fanbases may want to move up to the FBS. And heck, plenty of fanbases have legit reasons to want to and won't fault them for the desire. But we're literally /r/FCS, so c'mon now.

For what it’s worth, absolutely agree w/ Zach McKinnell and Timothy Rosario (and seriously, why aren’t you listening to FCS Football Central previews if you aren’t?) Those are (probably) ridiculously disrespectful lines for Citadel and Alabama A&M 😂 That said, ride or die baby!

Suffice to say, Northwestern State missed on their +37 spread. And the over (66.5) has sailed away. Note, they’re running condensed clock so it’s *way* worse than the score looks.

The results of this game tonight do not speak well to PVAMU’s chances of making a show of it against Michigan State on Saturday, if we’re being truly honest.

If only there was a solution to the FBS’s playoff issue where the winners of more than 4 conferences (let’s shorthand call them the Power 4) got a guaranteed spot in the playoff (let’s shorthand call it an autobid). But that “media-created” vulgarity has no place in the sport!

Really, really important point. Trust that this loss is steps down from the worst thing the program has had to deal with and will have to overcome over the last year. The Demons are having it rough. But this isn’t a breaking point moment for them.
