80 years ago today, almost 4,000 Roma & Sinti were murdered at Auschwitz-Birkenau. August 2 was hard won by Roma activists & survivors. We honour those who lost their lives & those who campaigned tirelessly to remember them. Today is about remembrance, but also about resistance.

Today we were honoured to attend the #RomaGenocideRemembranceDay Memorial held by Romano Lav in Glasgow. We laid a wreath in remembrance of all the #Roma and Sinti men, women and children murdered by the Nazis during the Roma Genocide.
