How long can a human swim without stopping? Ross Edgley is finding out right now in #LochNess, with the goal of breaking a world record for the longest ever tideless open-water swim - but for a deeper purpose: #KelpForests. (1/5)

A great last couple of weeks starting with SWDTP summer school in Bath for 1st year PhD students. A great opportunity to meet fellow students and to participate in extremely helpful sessions on managing our PhD projects, overcoming overwhelm and dealing with imposter syndrome.

#coralbleaching in the #floridakeys. These photos are not edited in any way. I wanted to share what I saw on the reef depicted as it actually looked. Horseshoe Reef, off Key Largo on 7/25/23. Elkhorn and staghorn #coral here and at other sites will experience high mortality.
