5pm CDT Sep 11th -- #Francine has made landfall in southern Louisiana in the Parish of Terrebonne, about 30 miles south-southwest of Morgan City, as a Category 2 hurricane. Maximum sustained winds are estimated to be near 100 mph (155 km/h). TCU: hurricanes.gov/#Francine

11pm: #Francine is a tropical storm again with the wind decreasing to 70mph, but heavy, flooding rain continues with the risk of tornadoes. It will weaken to a remnant low by Friday. Queen City News

Watching an area of low pressure offshore, which will increase our rain chances for Monday and Tuesday. Tough forecast as models are not in agreement on the direction and speed of that area of low pressure. Hard to say how far west rain will travel right now.
