The Magnetic Fields I bought the album after ROCKDELUX published their 1999 best international album lists. I have to admit I hadn't listened to not even one song from TMF but since then it became top 1. My coworkers could totally relate. And my family. And my friends. The concerts in BCN were wow!

Hurricane Ike in Houston, the power was out and all we had was the battery powered boombox. My brother, my girlfriend, and I listened to the whole album in the dark on the floor of his bedroom
