We had the best day ever yesterday… sports day followed by ice cream! 🤩🤩

Y6 have had a fantastic day! First, we caught the train to Hebden Bridge before walking up Stoodley Pike, then we had lunch and then made our way back down for ice cream and the train home. We couldn’t have asked for better weather! What an amazing way to finish an amazing year!

Year 3 have worked super hard in their maths lesson today! They have been working on representing three-digit numbers and having lots of discussions about whether the order of different representations have an impact on the number or not! White Rose Education

As part of our new English topic based on the silent Disney short film, ‘Paperman’, Year 6 have been using drama to act out their own silent films. 🎭 🍿 🎥

Year 6 are practising their ball control. They’re only allowed to touch the ball twice: to stop it and pass it to their partner. Great work, Year 6! ⚽️

Reception and Year 1 have officially met their Year 6 buddies today! They had a lovely time reading together! ❤️

Reception and Year 1 went on a local walk earlier today as part of their geography fieldwork. They were looking for things that they could see, hear and smell! ❤️

Year 5 impressed Miss Painter yesterday with their map skills - they did a great job of identifying countries and their capitals in different regions of Asia! 🗺️

Y6 have been learning about macro photography this afternoon. Macro photography focuses on the fine details of an object and taking close up photos. Great work, Y6! 📷
