The amount of journalists of color who are losing their jobs just a few short years after newsrooms worldwide made commitments to better reflect the communities we cover. Journalists, who without them, coverage will lack proper nuance and inhibit community trust.

Just want to note that The TRiiBE submitted for a press credential for NABJ after the Trump news, we still haven’t heard back. we’re a Black owned and led newsroom based in Chicago. no one reached out to us either asking if we needed a credential.
