Julia has already piloted this workshop in many events and science fairs, and it has proven to be a fantastic tool to start conversations around arthritis and the day-to-day difficulties of living with rheumatic conditions. Can't wait to see what is next! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Had the best time at Oxplore last week talking to high school students about arthritis and the importance of medical research!! 🌟 We learned what a challenge living with arthritis can be, especially if you have to tie shoelaces...

The brilliant Julia Salafranca Gomez, one of our DPhil students at the Kennedy, was at Oxplore in Cornwall a couple of weeks ago, teaching people about what it’s like to live with arthritis, and about keyhole surgery.

We are very excited to get started on this project with Sarah Spear and Team McNeish Lab. Thank you @CRUK for supporting this idea.
