Here are some things we’re still planting in zone 8b Texas! Meanwhile, we have lots of heat tolerant crops already growing: Tulsi, passion vine, lemongrass, tomatoes, peppers, sage, rosemary, sweet potatoes, sunchokes, thyme, marigolds, zinnias, pineapples and basil.

Small Garden Space??? and want to grow a lot of Squash and Zucchini?? Zucchini belongs to the same family as pumpkins, cucumbers, melons and squash. They need a bigger space to grow . You can use Stakes or Wire cage (tomato cage) your choice , But I prefer Wooden stakes . πŸ‘

Our friend @gingerfootgarden shared her experience with starting pepper seeds as early as December last year. Here’s what she learned. Hot varieties like scotch bonnet and Korean peppers grew slower than sweet and mildly spicy varieties like jalapeno and shishito.

πŸ… Blossom End Rot is caused by a calcium deficiency. πŸ… Another reason is inconsistency Water, happen a lot in my containers Tomatoes. . SOLUTION: I use Calcium based Fertilizer that made for tomatoes, you can also use Bone meal, eggshell , Or calcium supplement.
