🎉 Y'all! Today we passed legislation prohibiting new data centers near the Beltline and transit. Thank you Matt Westmoreland for co-authoring and our Atlanta City Council colleagues who championed this measure with us. Here's to better, more people-centric development in our urban core.

Good news for the urbanism of places near Atlanta's transit stops and the Beltline!! Big thanks to Council's Jason Dozier and Matt Westmoreland for leading the effort to prohibit data centers in those spots. We need to match people-places with transit investments!

In 1953, Joyce Johnson accepted a teaching position at Spelman College. It’s a role she still holds to this day— 71 years later. Honored for the opportunity this afternoon to celebrate those seven decades in service to Spelman, Atlanta, and beyond.
