Just a note from a child and adolescent psychiatrist: people with mental illness are far more likely to be victims of violent crime, stop blaming mental illness for white bigots shooting people, kids are suffering from our inaction around protecting them, and it’s still the guns.

This would be very dangerous for those with severe mental health problems. Remembering and attending an appointment can be very difficult and indeed impossible. We already die decades early cos of a noxious combination of this and diagnostic overshadowing that gaslights illness.
