The new episode of 10tb Hard Drive is out. We discuss Frank Perry's 'Last Summer' (1969), and Danny Boyle's 'The Beach' (2000). Enjoy! open.spotify.com/episode/4RavXj…

Hakan Sukur’s name has been scrubbed from Turkish society. Edited out of films, removed from stadia, a TV commentator taken off air just for saying it. I interviewed HAKAN ŞÜKÜR 👑, with Enes Kanter FREEDOM, as he approaches a decade in exile in America. nytimes.com/athletic/57148…

My aunt Gromit finally achieved her dream of going to space camp! She couldn’t go as a kid because she was in a facility for drowning her friend but she just graduated and the way the kids cheered her on was inspiring! 🥹

Jack McInroy please pivot Made in England to being a podcast solely dedicated to brutally and accurately deconstructing Richard Curtis films. A glorious 2hrs and 6mins😍

New episode of Made in England, tackling Danny Boyle and Richard Curtis's YESTERDAY (2019) with Stephen Graham (not the actor). Imagine there's no Beatles, it's easy if you try. Words like 'empty' and 'repulsive' are thrown about.

We were saying on the podcast this week, you could throw a dart at the calendar and whatever you hit there'd be something interesting the Beatles did that day. x.com/beatlesbible/s…

Man, I was so excited about the publication of “LIFE: Hollywood” by Taschen, because I consider the LIFE photo archives to be a priceless historical resource. So it’s a bummer to see how many of the photos in these books have been enhanced or even partially fabricated using AI.
