Absolutely delighted that Robbie Moore MP and Defra UK have approved more designated #BathingWaters including our very own #Ribble. Ribble Rivers Trust put a lot of hard work into securing this on behalf of the thousands of people who us it, and the #river itself

Last year I knuckled down on the Himalayan Balsam here. This year I’ve had to remove just 8 plants. Concerted effort can make a big difference!

Seems I’m not the only one who likes the fragrance of Small Leaved Lime #trees easy to forget their importance as a source of pollen and nectar for #bees - oh and of course #water 😉

DYK our campaign for Bathing Water Status at #Edisford #Clitheroe means you can check the water quality before you jump in 💦 Remember, this doesn't mean it's safe. It means it's monitored so polluters are obliged to clean up their act! Check today: environment.data.gov.uk/bwq/profiles

Absolutely made up to see this in Tawd Valley Park, this afternoon. Proof that the removal of Cobb's Clough Weir is helping fish move up the River Tawd. Magic 🐟🐟🐟💙💚

Today was wonderful celebrating 20 years of one of, if not the, best partnership I have ever been involved with. #People, #relationships, #conservation, #farming & #rivers. Finished with local Ribblehead Beer and #farmer & conservation #friends. It was also my 6000th day at RRT
