In 2021, Jalada Africa announced Nobel laureate Prof. Wole Soyinka as the new Featured Author for Issue 02 of their Translation series. His poem, "Mandela Comes to Leah", deals with the humanity and dissidences of Leah Sharibu, Malala Yousafzai, and Nelson Mandela.
