Ryan and I recorded this at the end of a hectic Friday a few weeks ago, I was tired and may have let my mouth run away from me; judge for yourselves. WHOOPS

I loved working on this disc for a film I adore from one of my favorite directors! We really knocked ourselves out to pack it with thoughtful extras.

This release represents a big milestone for us at Arrow and Engine House Media Services - our first UHD disc authored in-house! And needless to say, inherent limitations of the source aside, it looks really BLOODY marvellous...

Had the pleasure of QCing this last week and the new Schrader-approved restoration looked (appropriately enough) GORGEOUS. Terrific video extras produced by Gillian W Horvat and an Adrian Martin commentary to boot!

Welles’ first film when he was just 17. Never thought I’d see this; I figured it would just be a single angle, out of focus, b&w… instead, colour! Voiceover! Angles and composition, albeit rudimentary! A frickin’ framing device at the start! This is extraordinary.
