A turn of phrase that I wish we could retire is "the most vulnerable." You always here such-and-such thing will impact the most vulnerable. And ... like ... of course?Being at risk of being negatively impacted is literally what the word "vulnerable" means.

I'm sitting next to a Lincoln impersonator at the airport bar. He's watching MSNBC reporting on yesterday's assassination attempt. This is easily the most surreal thing I've ever witnessed.

Today is the 35th anniversary of the Supermarket Visit that Changed the World, i.e., the day Boris Yeltsin visited Randall’s in Houston, Texas, and realized at that moment that communism had failed. A true cause for celebration!

Drew some blobs and tried to use watercolour blending to turn them into trees. Didn't really work. Going to try again tomorrow.

I love Ontario Place and oppose its demolition and privatization. I support encampments and oppose their displacement in the absence of adequate housing. These aren't unrelated. In fact, they derive from the same concept: the preservation of public space for the public good.

NYPD now says someone stole the knife "wielded by" the alleged farebeater they shot yesterday. The knife they previously said they "recovered" and posted on social media is a "different knife." gothamist.com/news/man-sough…

Can you imagine what the news cycle would be like if Kamala Harris launched a cryptocurrency in the middle of the election campaign?
