Quick question- it’s not ok for people to make money on curriculum/products districts like and want for their teachers and students because they see value…but it’s totally ok for people to make $$ on products/programs they are being mandated to use?

This entire thread. This is what educators are upset about. Their egos aren’t bruised, they’re not afraid to get uncomfortable when learning, and they certainly want what’s best for children. They are professionals who have spotted the wolf in sheep’s clothing.

Agreed. The only story we’re being “sold” is her continual push to stay current no matter what research and evidence she dismisses to fit her narrow, one-sided agenda. She lost me long ago knowing she has never taught a single child to read. #cherrypicking
