Check out the latest pre-print from the Green Lab and Jingdong Cheng labs! Here, my colleagues propose that LARP1 binds to non-translating ribosomes to regulate the translation of mRNAs containing 5’TOP motifs such as ribosomal proteins.

This extremely cool barcoded RNA technique, developed by my mentor Subramaniam Lab and colleagues at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center, takes CRISPR screening possibilities to a new dimension. I can't wait to use it for all kinds of fun experiments during my postdoc!
