With generous support of Embassy of Japan in Afghanistan, EUinAfghanistan, Special Trust Fund for Afghanistan 🇺🇳 - UNDP Afghanistan #ABADEI channeled +$250 million, reaching +6 million people—14.8% of entire population! Efforts supported +3 million women, covering 97% of provinces, 67% of districts, and every region.
800 households in #Parun & #Kamdish of #Nuristan province receive deworming medicine with support from The Gov't of Japan. It helps protect animals from parasites, boost weight gain, breeding, and immunity. Animal feed, fodder seeds, dairy kits and training are also provided.
#Afghanistan is among the top ten countries most impacted by climate change. In the Khas Kunar district, we worked with the community to construct a check dam, reducing flood risk and protecting 900 families while also providing water storage for agriculture. 1/2 🙏The Gov't of Japan
