A mind-bending tale following a small portion of the human population surviving on a hidden island - until one man begins to realise that the truth isn't what it seems - our SFF Book of the Month for May is justin cronin's unputdownable The Ferryman: bit.ly/3Qm8SjG #BOTM

It's that time again! There's something for everyone this month... From a utopian island with sinister secrets in "The Ferryman", to a light-hearted but emotionally complex observation of family relationships in Scottish BOTM, "Weak Teeth". #booksofthemonth

Interesting question. As it happens, I wrote the novel pretty much front to back. (True for all the books of the trilogy.) I don't always do things that way, but it's what the story asked me to do.

justin cronin Some of the finest and most certainly cinematic sentences ever read. I have told ya before in person but man I remember needing to pull over a part in listening to The Twelve on a long journey. A forever kudos to you on these literary AF books.

Thank you, Josh. The only answer I can give you is that I try to write as honestly as I can about the things that are most on my mind.
