It's great to see Ari Stathopoulos (@yoast's WP core team lead) working on the stuff that I think #WordPress core / Gutenberg *really* needs: standardized input fields, so all forms plugins can build on those:

Now I'm not opposed to hiring people to help us at Yoast, even with our SEO, but the thought that I'd hire someone to do that just because he emailed me 3 times...

'perfect-ish-font-fallback' by Malte Ubl is an amazing and very easy-to-use tool for using the size-adjust CSS descriptor to make a fallback font's metrics match your primary font more closely, preventing CLS when a custom font is loaded and displayed:

Couldn’t agree more. This is legendary code detective work, written down as an Agatha Christie novel with Juliette acting as Hercule Poirot *and* novelist at the same time.

So… I don’t believe in astrology, but Aleyda Solis 🇺🇦 and Mic King being born on the same day sort of is weird. Must be something on this date that makes for incredible SEOs.
