Sargeant is going to drive for Williams F1 as long as he gets the Super License points. Williams is giving him two more FP1 sessions (which gives an extra point if you complete 100km) and as long as he doesn’t have a problem in the F2 finale at Abu Dhabi, he’ll be fine in points.

Mercedes says Nyck de Vries (who will drive for AlphaTauri next season) will replace George Russell in FP1 on Friday in Mexico as part of the two mandatory young driver sessions each team must complete in a season. De Vries is still a Mercedes reserve driver for three more races.

Had the entire 267 laps at Miami gone green and the final positions were based on speed alone (Median Lap) Kyle Larson would've finished approximately 2.5 miles ahead of 2nd place
