This from Sunak on his wealth is very telling. He doesn’t actually believe he’s “fortunate” - he thinks he deserves everything he has because his family “worked very hard.” Care staff who have to use food banks after a ten hour shift presumably just need to put more effort in.

I remember coming into school on 2 May 1997 and my teacher was dressed in red, dancing around our leaking temporary classroom saying: 'Things are going to change!' And you know what? By the end of the 5 years, that classroom was gone. I've never forgotten his ebullient hope.

I hate the fact that I have to produce id to vote. Between 2019 and 2013 there were just 11 convictions and 4 cautions for voter fraud. It's not a problem. Yet here we are - demanding proof the young and poor are less likely to have. It's Windrush at the polls.
