The greatest trick the devil ever played was not doing everything in his power to keep schools open during the pandemic resulting in the longest school closures in Canada and somehow getting the public to believe that teachers were to blame.

Business Idea: An ice-cream truck but for school supplies that drives around from 7-9 am, 11 am -1 pm, and 3-5 pm selling teachers the last-minute things they need for their classrooms.

I may have forgotten to buy sidewalk chalk after school yesterday.

Not everyone in this house is happy about school starting again or about work happening on laptops in the evening.

Pepper commandeered that post-it with my table groups on it and has held it hostage for 25 minutes now.

My emergency day plans are due tomorrow so I’m signing off early but would like to offer a pro-tip before I go: Don’t try to make your students laugh on the first day of school by going down the bendy tube slide if you’re 52 and maybe not quite as bendy as you used to be.
