I was honoured to be at Taylor House this afternoon in Whitehorse for the official swearing in ceremony of new Commissioner Adeline Webber for a term of five years. Congratulations Commissioner Webber and I look forward to our future collaborations!

Another year has wrapped at Eliza Van Bibber School in Pelly Crossing. Congratulations to all and thank you to Principal Josh Korten and school staff for everything you do!

Last week I was honoured to join Premier Ranj Pillai to welcome ambassadors and high commissioners to Canada to the Yukon as part of the Global Affairs northern diplomatic tour. It was great to connect and share stories as well hear about potential for future collaborations.

In just a couple days, Team Yukon will be competing in Halifax for the 2023 North American Indigenous Games and tonight Jeremy Harper and I were honoured to help give them a spirited send-off.

These athletes are the territory’s future leaders and our government is proud to support them as they strive to achieve their goals and reach for their dreams and beyond. Best of luck to everyone competing and have fun! 2023 North American Indigenous Games
