Our monthly Coffee Klatch meeting took place this morning. We had a good turnout. Parents enjoyed the coffee and the presentations. Our district nurse presented as well Daisy from the Family Resource Center, and our counselor Ms. Martinez. Go Hawks!

The Student of the Month/Perfect Attendance Assembly took place this morning. Two students in each classroom received the SOTM award. Students with perfect attendance the first trimester entered a raffle to win a bicycle. We had 8 lucky winners! Go Hawks!

More than 60 students at Jesse G. Sanchez received a brand new jacket donated by Sergio Ceja. Santa Clause was in attendance as well. A big Thank you to the Ceja family for donating the jackets. Students were so happy and thankful. They are ready for the Winter! Go Hawks!

Shea Salinas, former professional soccer player (SJ Earthquakes) who played as a winger visited our site this afternoon to speak to our 3rd and 4th grade students. Our students were excited to meet him. They all received a card signed by him. Go Hawks!

The Student of The Month assembly took place this morning. Each classroom teacher recognized two students for the month of November. We also recognized 3 English Learners that recently met all the requirements for reclassification. Parents/students enjoyed the assembly. Go Hawks!

Students participated in activities such as coloring and decorating ornaments during their lunch recess. Students had a great time. A big Thank you to the AFRC and our school counselor Ms. Martinez for organizing this event. The Grinch was also in attendance. Go Hawks!

We had a wonderful event this morning. All of our students (670+) received a Christmas present. An enormous THANK YOU to Miguel Rubio and his family for making this event possible and donating the gifts. Their contributions brought many smiles and joy! Go Hawks!

Our Christmas Program was a success. We organized one event for our students and a second event for parents. Grade levels and individual classrooms performed Christmas songs. Parents and students had a great time! Go Hawks.

Today we celebrated Mr. Godoy’s (RSP Teacher) last day at Sanchez. We wish him well on his new journey as Assistant Principal at Bardin. Thank you Mr. Godoy for your hard work and dedication to our students. You will always be a Hawk! Buena suerte!!

We had a great turnout. We had over 35 parents that attended our Coffee Klatch Meeting. Our ELD Coaches (Mr. Mancera and Mrs. Bravo) presented on EL Reclassification. Outstanding presentation! Go Hawks!

Our sixth grade students are going to Science Camp at Camp Loma Mar (Pescadero, CA) in April. Our sixth grade teachers facilitated a parent meeting to provide information about Science Camp and answer any questions. Our sixth grade students are excited! Go Hawks!

Our students enjoy going to the PBIS Store twice a month. We have many prizes for them to choose from. After they receive 100 Hawk bucks, they earn a PBIS membership. With the membership they can purchase prizes from the PBIS store. Go Hawks!

We celebrated Jesse G. Sanchez’s birthday this morning. Our school was named after Mr. Sanchez. The Sanchez family was in attendance. Students performed and sang las mañanitas. Students also shared paragraphs on the life and accomplishments of Jesse G. Sanchez. Go hawks!!!

We invited parents and students to attend our Math Festival. Students and parents enjoyed participating in the Math activities. A big thank you to the staff and parents who volunteered to make this fun event possible for our students. Go Hawks!

Parents, staff members, and students enjoyed attending our student of the month and AR assembly. Congratulations to the students that met their AR goal and received the student of the month award. Go Hawks!

During our Morning Assembly we raffled 14 bicycles for perfect attendance. We had over 250 students with perfect attendance the second trimester. Congratulations to our lucky winners! A big thank you to Miguel Rubio for donating the bicycles. Go Hawks!!

Parents and students enjoyed attending our Open House. Teachers displayed student projects to showcase the work they have done in their classes. They also organized fun activities for parents and their children to participate together. We had a great turnout . Go Hawks!

Our sixth grade students, teachers and parent chaperones are having a great time at science camp (WOLF School Camp). Students are enjoying exploring nature, and participating in interactive activities. Go Hawks!
