We applaud today's judicial ruling that requires UCLA to ensure that Jewish students are not excluded from accessing any portion of the campus nor denied university services & programs. As the fall approaches, we are working to ensure Jewish students will be safe & included.

Hersh Goldberg-Polin was the son of Jon Polin and Rachel Goldberg. An elder brother to two sisters, he was happy-go-lucky, laid back, and curious. He loved soccer, music, and geography. Goldberg-Polin completed his mandatory service in the Israel Defense Forces in April 2023.

Eden Yerushalmi was a Tel Aviv native who “loved spending summer days at the beach and was studying to become a Pilates instructor,” according to the Hostage Families Forum. She was the daughter of Shirit and sister of Shani and Mai. May her memory forever be a blessing.

Ori Danino was the oldest of five siblings. He was planning to become an engineer, according to the Hostage Families Forum. A master sergeant in the Israel Defense Forces, Ori was captured at the Nova Music Festival on October 7th while attempting to rescue others.

Alex Lobanov, 32, was an Ashkelon resident who was a barman at the Nova Music Festival. He and his wife Michal had two children; one was born while Alex was in captivity. Michal eulogized Alex as loving life and freedom and promised to raise their children upholding those values.
