Maybe I'm feeling all the emotions of this past week, but seeing Brian's photo at the end hits unexpectedly and hard. Those we've lost to this awful disease don't deserve to be labeled and denigrated. They are our parents, children, siblings, and yes, friends.

My mom just called and said the growth in my dad's pancreas, unfortunately, is cancerous. I'm still hoping for some kind of miracle. They go back to the doctor tomorrow. Please keep praying for my dad. Thank you.
