This Holling Heights hawk helped me yesterday during a counseling lesson. We were stuck with with technology and he helped us all "Triumph" with giving some extra "umph". Who will be your helper or cheerleader today? As HAWKS we work together!
5th grade students in Mrs. Cvitanov's class Holling Heights have been working on their triumph. They are thinking of ways to be risk takers. Our counseling lesson added to that with self talk.
2nd grade students Holling Heights practiced transitioning from preferred activities quickly and quietly. Kindergarten students practiced polite conversations and turn taking. Great job showing our HAWKS!
Practice leads to generalization. 5th grade students Holling Heights practice sportsmanship and demonstrating HAWKS expectations. This will help in all areas of their lives!

Thanks to Montclair Counseling for role modeling vertical whiteboards last week. This group of Holling Heights students were used to it from their classroom teacher. They did a great job during their counseling lesson reviewing school wide expectations.
