Maybe you're not "wrong" or "bad" or "weak." Maybe you didn't "attract" abuse or miss obvious red flags. Maybe that's all victim blaming bullsh*t pushed by a culture-- that is, people-- deathly afraid that they, too, are vulnerable to trauma they can't predict or avoid. What if?
