Our new report on potentially contentious issues in the curriculum, out today! The largest and most detailed survey ever on these topics. This report covers an array of race-, LGBTQ-, and sex education-related scenarios in schools, going far deeper than any previous study ...

When I say that kids with disabilities belong in Catholic school, and you tell me to "accept reality," you mean that the best way to balance the budget is to exclude kids like mine. Stop doing that. Unless you think it would be also fair to balance the budget by excluding yours.

FL Catholic schools are the exception, not the rule. FL is +9% in the last 10 years, while nationwide enrollment is -14% in the same period. OH, IN, and AZ all have expansive, sustained voucher programs and none have seen that level of growth.

Eerily reminiscent of the blended and personalized learning hype from the early 2010s. At some point generative AI will normalize into something that is far less impactful than hoped for, but more useful than its strongest detractors suggest. Until then we have to deal with this

The Newtown school system honored the 20 children who died at Sandy Hook by including their names aming the graduating class. Hard to believe how much time has passed since the massacre and all that was lost.

Great story here on the single largest gift given to Catholic schools in the United States - and one sign of reform in Catholic education that is expansive, inclusionary, and spirit-filled.

What grade levels or content areas do we consistently struggle to staff? What data do we have to support this? Check out my NCEA blog post for more questions to guide recruitment strategies in Catholic schools & to register for my 8/13 webinar on this topic. Boston College Lynch School
