The Operation is multi agency, utilising expertise within West Midlands Police & partner agencies such as Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency & the Motor Insurance Bureau. Highlights from the operation will follow shortly. #RHPTMARSO

#RHPT have been conducting a road safety operation with Jewellery Quarter Police 23 Vehicles stopped, with 18 drivers being reported for offences, 3 vehicles prohibited for dangerous defects and 7 vehicles seized for No insurance offences Simon French DVSA Enforcement Drive Insured

Joint Op with Winson Green Police last week targeting a group of prolific shoplifters. 3 offenders charged with 41 offences combined. Sgt Rich Bastable stated “this sends a clear message that if you come to the area with the intention of committing crime you will be caught”

#RoadCrimeTeam working with the Vehicle Crime Team saw 2 males in balaclavas trying car doors in the Jewellery Quarter. Both were arrested after a foot chase & struggle with one who was armed with a 🔪! Checks found the other was wanted x2 for a wounding & recall to prison.👌

It's been a busy few days for the team. We have been continuing to answer your calls for service as well as supporting Jewellery Quarter Police with a planned protest. On top of this, we still remain proactive, with two males searched yesterday and a quantity of drugs recovered. 🚔👮🏾‍♀️👮🏻‍♀️

🚔The team spotted this Golf today which decided to try and hide from officers in a car park. The driver thought we would take issue with his illegal windscreen tint. The fact he had no insurance didn't cross his mind 🤷Vehicle seized, tint removed and driver reported. #OpTiton

Officers have recently seized this Maserati from the Jewellery Quarter after it was being driven without insurance, tax or a valid licence. The driver has been reported for these offences. Winson Green Police Drive Insured
