"They build up a relationship; it makes the process human. They work hard to gain the trust of the person and that’s part of the process – restoration of trust with a health service you are wondering if it has failed you.” Brigid Doherty National Screening Service Angela Tysall Jo Wailling

Already seeing academics tweeting about how much work they will do whilst university closed. Rest assured I won’t be working. Our work needs to be sustainable, healthy, fit into a working week otherwise we just set false expectations for ourselves & the next generation….

Absolutely inquiries should seek out marginalised voices, but restorative inquiry must do more than listen, seeking to meaningfully include stakeholders in system re-design, compensate them for their time and efforts, and act in a just and equitable way.
