Utah State kicker Elliott Nimrod was named the Mountain West Special Teams Player of the Week. He hit 3/3 FGs this week against Robert Morris, including a career-long 50 yard attempt and also hit 3/4 PATs to give him 12 points on the day, a career single-game best for Nimrod.

Utah State soccer defender Addy Weichers is the Mountain West Defensive Player of the Week. USU's defense, which has allowed just 1 goal in 5 games, has accounted for all 3 DPOTW awards given out by the MW so far, won by three different players (Kylie Olsen, Shay Kercher-Pratt)
