The National Military Working Dogs Memorial wreath that sailed to Normandy onboard HMS Dasher escorted by HMS Trumpeter has been laid on #DDAY80 at the grave of Emile Corteil of Parachute Regiment and his dog Glen who are buried together in Commonwealth War Graves Ranville Cemetery. Lest we forget

Listening to Julie Julie Skentelbery on BBC Cornwall & the advice from a "canine" listener about the risks to dogs walking on hot tarmac, reminded us of a tour of duty at RAF Gibraltar There was only tarmac on many of the Provost Marshal (RAF)/Cdr ASF patrol areas so we made special socks for our dogs!
