Think about this. We have high water marks for this location dating back to before any state was ratified (1785) and half of the major flood crests have occurred in the past six years.

We've had several recent storms create some intimidating looking clouds, like the top right picture in this graphic. How can you tell if what you're looking at is a tornado? The best way is to determine whether or not it's rotating. If not, it's not a tornado.
