Good morning! Doesn’t this Oystercatcher look happy? If you look closely by its feet there might be a couple of eggs in the sand.

Layered beauty. Here’s one from a few years ago. We have white flamingos, hippos having a little chat, and then another layer of pink flamingos in the back.

A quick downpour and now a beautiful rainbow!

Went for a walk yesterday in Victoria, BC. Saw a spotted towhee, a mule deer, a bald eagle, and a song sparrow. Pretty good day overall.

I just read that it is World Lion Day #WorldLionDay2024 . This lone lions is from a trip to #Tanzania a few years ago. He was resting on top of the rock and woke up just in time. He’s had a hard life it looks like, but is soooo majestic.
