Here in London discovered a Afghani plov stall. Spoke to the owner said, how much I enjoy his plov and how it takes me back to Kazakhstan and my childhood. He said his family are Uzbeks and he uses Uzbek recipe. Just a story I wanted to share featuring plov and Uzbekistan. ♥️🌷

Such an interesting article again. Migrant workers in Sweden fighting for their rights. I like the fact that all Russian speaking workers unite, if they are from Usbekistan, Russia, Lithuania or Kyrgyzstan, they have one goal to be treated fairly as migrant workers.

Okay this is a better post on Lena's book. I have only seen parts of it. But, what I have seen is excellent.

I can see that I was working on this book in 2021, and now in 2024, 83 years since deportation, I hope to finally make it available. I will keep everyone updated.Hopefully out before Xmas this year. But please keep in mind, this is the story of my family, not an academic book.
