Deirdre O’Connor was a native of Ballybunion and a much loved member of the Irish community in NYC who tragically passed away after a very successful fundraiser for her in Woodlawn. We are so grateful for the generosity of Deirdre's committee and will forever remember her legacy.

As a family we travelled for the unveiling of a bench dedicated to Kevin outside Rory Dolan’s in Woodlawn. It was a very proud occasion for the family and we would like to sincerely thank Rory Dolan and the many friends of Kevin who attended. Go raibh míle maith agaibh go léir.

We must sincerely thank Mary Fay who conceived the idea of a tribute to Kevin, had the bench and plaque made, organised the night and looked after us. Such a lady and a good heart! We are proud to call her our friend!
