On teaching Facebook, someone posts to say they’ve been asked to plan a whole unit of work for interview. No guidance on subject. If already teaching, what ridiculous extra workload for a job you might not get! ECTs would surely get help from the team to plan? Why do we do this??

Is it me or does the house buying/selling process all need firming up a bit? If you put in an offer on a house and then pull out, you’re potentially damaging a chain of people their own move and costing everyone a heap of wasted time and money!

Am I wrong - when I was young (80s), whenever we turned on a motorway slip road there was someone with a thumb up &a location scrawled on card where they wanted to hitch to? Was this an accepted method of getting somewhere, without even a mobile to let people know you were safe!?

The ironic thing is, this is someone who absolutely refuses to accept responsibility, accountability or listen to anyone. There is a huge difference between ‘tough messages’ and a toxic, damaging and bullying culture and she never got that.

Parenting young children on your own has an intensity that produces so many special & magical times, and can also make you feel like you need a breather sometimes. Then the moment you get a breather, even for a short time, you feel bereft and lost! 💙
