Just woke my husband up at 3 AM to ask him if he’s breathing. He’s such a lucky man to be married to me 😂

For now, we have one kid (my 9yo stepson) who likes to stretch Christmas for as long as possible and not rush, and one kid (2yo daughter) who doesn't quite get it yet. Possibly my last Christmas for a long time to have a peaceful Christmas morning.

Tonight I taught my stepson long division. I feel so accomplished right now.

I’m not a parenting expert by any stretch but I HAVE learned that just because my toddler only wants the green spoon, I shouldn’t buy more green spoons because as soon as I do she’ll only want the yellow spoon.

Our two year old is transitioning to her twin bed right now so we have to lay with her until she sleeps. When a feral toddler melts into you and falls asleep. Man. Nothing like it.

10 PM. Just got up from laying with the toddler until she fell asleep. Now 2 month old is crying to eat. This is madness, man.
