Glad to have this one out! I’m calling this the “Rob Chapman gets the band back together” paper. Certainly a fun way to stay connected with some of the current/former IU Kinesiology crew. Big props to Masrissa, Keren Constantini, and #twiterlessHunter for all the hard work on this.

Big shout-out to the brilliant & twitterless IrIt Markus for her 1st 1st-author pub (as a MS student!!) in European Journal of Applied Physiology! Hard work, dedication and of course writing-induced mental damage pay off 🤓😎 link.springer.com/article/10.100…

Our recent review in Exercise and Sport Sciences Reviews.... a lot of answers but even more questions when it comes to heat vs altitude for endurance performance at sea-level in thermoneutral environment. A fun paper to get the old gang back together from IU Kinesiology

Altitude vs heat training - are they similar/interchangeable? Combined our nerd power to try and answer this in our recent Exercise and Sport Sciences Reviews review, but ended up with more ?? and lots of ideas for future research

This recent study aimed to determine whether Hypoxic Ventilatory Response (HVR) at rest and during exercise are similar and if exercise HVR is related to the degree of impairment in cycling time trial performance from normoxia to acute hypoxia. ow.ly/RYbE50DzaOv

A pilot day at the Sylvan Adams Sports Institute, helping Evyatar Ohayon with his project, studying the relation between cycling cadence at a fixed moderate intensity and physilogical and biomechanical parameters. Realy cool stuff 😎
